Reconnecting People with The Land

Riversmeet community cooperative is working with local food producers and community networks to help our community develop more resilient local food systems. We are supporting collaborative initiatives that will increase consumption of our own locally produced food and aim to expand employment in the local food economy.

Varnycrooks Organic Orchard is our first pilot project that has been established through community finance in partnership with organic farmer David James.
