North Cumbria Orchard Group is getting together with the Riversmeet Community Cooperative to provide an opportunity for people in the Cockermouth area to come and juice any surplus apples they may have. The event is free (donations welcome) and all equipment will be provided and supervised. Just bring along clean apples (i.e. washed and not rotten) and something in which to take away the juice (allow at least 1 litre per 2 kg).
The event is at the Riversmeet Community Resource Centre, 4 Market Street Cockermouth, from 11am – 3 pm on Saturday 27th October.
